Direct Billing
Payment Options
If you are having major work (crowns, bridges, etc.) done, our office is more than happy to send a pre-determination to your insurance company and they will let you know how much of your treatment plan will be covered. Any additional expenses will be paid for out of pocket.
When having major work done, we will often ask for a deposit, typically amounting to half of the bill. This will cover the costs of third-party lab bills, and reduce the amount of your balance once insurance pays out. Dr. Dan and the staff at Dr. Dan Dental are happy to assist you (to the best of our ability) in having your dental insurance cover your dental treatment. Please ask if you have any questions regarding treatment, costs, or insurance!
We are happy to assist you in any way possible to have your insurance pay for your dental work. We offer two payment options for your bill:
Direct Billing
We will submit your dental claim to your insurance company and you are responsible to pay for the balance. Sometimes, for various reasons, your insurance company does not give us a breakdown of what they will pay for. In that case, we may take a small deposit on your account to cover the balance once insurance has paid us.
Pay as You Go
Basically this means you pay your bill in full before leaving the office. We will still submit your claim for you, but request that your insurance reimburses you directly instead of us. This option is often beneficial for people who gain some sort of rewards on their credit cards.
