Meet the Team

Dr. Dan moved from Hong Kong to Toronto at the age of 9, and graduated with his DDS from the University of Toronto in 2007. He moved to Alberta in 2007 to further his training at the University of Alberta, and also worked in Fort McMurray. Dr. Dan now works at his practices in Sherwood Park and Beaumont. He loves fishing, reading, and spending time with his kids.

Shannon graduated from the University of B.C. in 1986, and after 37 years of Dental Hygiene she has recently ‘retired’ to become our full time Office Manager. She and her family moved to Sherwood Park in 2008, and she has worked with Dr. Dan for 14 years. Shannon loves cycling, yoga, dogs, and travelling to see her kids.

Deanna has been working with Dr. Dan at our Sherwood Park location, since 2012, and also at Dr. Dan Dental since it opened in January 2019. She grew up in Arnold's Cove, Newfoundland, and attended Keyin College there. After graduating in 2008, she moved to Alberta. In Deanna's spare time, she enjoys kickboxing, walking, traveling and spending time with her wife, family and friends.

Zach is one of our wonderful receptionists and one of the first voices you hear at our office. When he is not greeting you, at your appointment, you will find him with his two kids, wife, and dog Bowser. In his free time, he enjoys his motorcycle, camping, and photography.

Krista graduated from the University of Alberta with her BSc in Dental Hygiene. She was born and raised in Edmonton AB. Her favourite part of being a dental hygienist is helping to improve client’s oral health and helping them overcome their dental anxiety. When she’s not working, she is spending time with her husband, family, friends and her two dogs, Dodger and Ember.

Chelly attended KDM Dental College and graduated from Dental Assisting in June 2022. She loves to spend time outdoors with her family and her two dogs; Penelope and Trigger. Camping and quading are her favourite activities. Chelly is currently on maternity leave!

Ali has lived in Beaumont since 2013. She attended CDI College and graduated Dental Assisting in 2020. In her free time, she loves gaming, listening to music and spending time with her family.
